Flatlands Press intrinsic practice is about collaboration and creating printed matter. During this period of social distancing and flattening the curve, we seek to flatten the world and bring us closer together in the process.
With this in mind, Flatland Press invites you to submit pieces for Flat Space, a publication that will be created around this period of social distancing.
Present themes orbiting around forms of communication, shorten the distance between us, and antiquated tech/dead tech.
The initial issue will be a pdf version for Quaranzine Fest April 4-5, 2020, with physical copies available for shipping. Each featured artist will also receive a printed copy.
I will be using a RISO EZ590 on site to print this zine, so one or two color work (or work that can translated as such) is optimal. If you aren’t sure if your work will translate, reach out and we can discuss it.
